Lauren grew up in metro-Atlanta and earned her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health from the University of Georgia. Next, Lauren attended Pace Law School in White Plains, New York where she graduated Cum Laude and earned a Certificate in Environmental Law.
While in law school, Lauren was ranked a top-ten oralist at the Philip C. Jessup International Law Competition, served as a chairperson of Pace’s Moot Court Program, and competed on Pace’s Mock Trial Team for all three years of law school. Lauren’s reputation is simultaneously that of an aggressive litigator and a reasonable opposing counsel who recognizes that the best outcome for families is often achieved outside of the courtroom.
In 2017, Lauren joined Vayman & Teitelbaum, which has been an ideal fit for her growing Family Law practice. In addition, Lauren is a Certified and Registered Family Law Mediator, which she finds very rewarding.
Since 2008, Lauren has volunteered with the Georgia High School Mock Trial Competition (in addition to competing as a high schooler herself). Lauren has served as an attorney coach, Assistant Regional Coordinator, and Regional Coordinator of the Region 17 Georgia High School Mock Trial Competition. Lauren is grateful to High School Mock Trial for providing her with the framework for her career, and she is happy to give back to the Program.
